We hope the fall season finds you comfortable and safe!
Part of our Thanksgiving tradition includes starting the day participating in a Turkey Trot. Last year, we were prevented from running because of YOU KNOW WHAT! Well, YOU KNOW WHAT turned out to be a really good thing for our turkey trot and we’ve decided to keep it local.
We want to invite you to meet up at Lake Murray to run the second annual Lake Murray Turkey Trot.
At 8am, we will start at the parking lot entrance gate near the ball fields, drop onto the lake and make a left. Just past the osprey nest, make a u-turn and head back to the fence. Air tap the target and make your way back to where you started. 5K in the bag.
CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION AND TEE SHIRTS
Our “regular” Turkey Trot includes donations to a local food bank. We are holding onto this as well and will raise some money through sales of tee-shirts. All funds raised from shirt sales will go to the San Diego Food Bank.
Once again, Lila Mercer designed a tee-shirt for us. Order your shirts below. The Mercers and Stewarts are going to get the shirts ordered and will have them at our respective homes to pick up. We will send an email with pickup details when the shirts are ready. Sorry, no deliveries.

As much as we’d like to have a rager, we are trying to keep this event safe and comfortable to all. Feel free to share this with your close friends and family, and please keep it off the socials. If Thanksgiving morning doesn’t work for you, consider running it at anytime during the Thanksgiving weekend!
